Most businesses do not need a photographer on staff. They need a reliable one who turns up knowing the brand, shoots what was agreed, and delivers on the date promised. That is what a day rate is for.
I work directly with in house marketing teams and as a subcontractor for agencies and studios. Photography and video, brand, commercial, corporate, events and licensed aerial, which means one booking covers briefs that would otherwise need three separate people.
Based in Belgrave, so the eastern suburbs, the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley are a short run rather than a cross city trip. Melbourne metro, Mernda, the Mornington Peninsula and Geelong are all standard service area.

What does a shoot cost?
Every shoot is quoted as a fixed fee up front, against the brief rather than off a rate card. Tell me what the images have to do, where they are going and when you need them, and the quote comes back with the scope written down beside it, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Do you work as a subcontractor for agencies?
Yes, regularly. Shooting to your direction, under your brand, with files delivered in the structure your post workflow expects. Happy to sign whatever the client relationship requires.
What is the difference between a half day and a full day?
A half day is up to four hours on site and suits one location or one brief. A full day is up to eight and suits multiple locations, a large team, or stills and video in the same booking.
What areas do you cover?
Everywhere in Melbourne. I am based in Belgrave, which puts the eastern suburbs, the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley closest, and I work across the metro area, Mernda, the Mornington Peninsula and Geelong as standard. Regional Victoria and interstate are quoted with travel.
How are the images delivered?
Full resolution files through Dropbox, with web sized versions alongside them so nothing has to be resized before it goes on a site or a socials post. Commercial licensing and print rights are included, and files stay hosted for three months after delivery.
Can I book the same day every month?
Yes, and it is the arrangement that works best. A standing day gets a held slot and a standing rate, and you can pause a quarter with thirty days notice and pick back up at the same rate.
How do I book?
Send through what the shoot is for and roughly when. We do a short call to pin down scope, then the proposal, contract and payment schedule all come through one client portal so nothing is chased over email.
