Frequently asked questions

1. How Do I Book a Session with You?

I’ve designed my booking process to be professional, secure and highly organised. It starts with a simple inquiry:

  • Reach Out: Send an email via the contact page on my website.

  • The Consultation: This prompts a meeting (video or phone) where we gather the specific details of your inquiry.

  • The CRM Portal: Once we agree on the scope, I will input your project into my Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Through this CRM, you will receive a digital proposal, a contract outlining the exact scope of work and the payment schedule. Having everything "built-in" ensures that no details are lost in email threads and that we are both aligned on deliverables before the shoot begins.

2. What photography and videography services do you provide?

I provide a complete Visual Asset Creation service. My goal is to be your single point of contact for all things visual.

  • Commercial Photography: High-end advertising, product and lifestyle imagery.

  • Brand Videography: End-to-end video production, from storyboarding to final delivery.

  • Corporate Communications: Professional interviews, team profiles and brand stories.

  • Event Coverage: Capturing the energy of launches, conferences and brand activations.

  • Aerial Services: Drone photography and videography for real estate, construction, or cinematic establishing shots.

3. What locations do you provide photography and videography services to?

I service all of Melbourne and regional Victoria. I also work interstate and nationally depending on the campaign. For projects outside of Victoria, I utilise a low impact solution for agile responses to jobs. My equipment kits are optimised to be highly portable without sacrificing cinema-grade quality, allowing me to deploy quickly across Australia while keeping travel logistics efficient.

4. Are you approved to provide drone services in Australia?

Yes. I am a licensed operator compliant with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). I fly as a Licensed Sub-2kg Operator, which allows for incredible agility in urban and commercial environments. I currently operate the DJI Mavic 4 Pro Creator, which offers state-of-the-art image quality and safety features. I carry specific aviation Public Liability Insurance to ensure every flight is fully protected.

5. How much do your photography services cost?

Pricing is geared toward quality workmanship and a premium end result. I don't compete on being the "cheapest"; I compete on reliability and professional standards. Half-day photo packages that include editing start at $1,380 + GST. This baseline covers the creative consultation, professional-grade equipment and the meticulous post-production required to deliver a polished final product.

6. How much do your videography services cost?

Half-day video packages start at $1,860 + GST for an end-to-end solution. Because video involves audio syncing, music licensing and complex editing, this starting price ensures even a shorter session receives the technical polish it deserves. For larger productions requiring multi-day shoots or additional crew, I provide a detailed, fixed-fee quote.

7. What's included in your photography packages?

While every package is unique, my standard inclusions are:

  • Pre-production planning and creative consultation.

  • High-resolution digital files delivered via Dropbox cloud solution.

  • Commercial Licensing for your business use.

  • 3-Month File Hosting: I host your project files for 90 days post-delivery as a safety net.

  • Raw Files: These can be provided upon request if discussed during the booking phase, usually for a small additional fee.

8. How long will it take to receive my photos?

Delivery is tailored to the project type and depth of editing required:

  • Express: For events or press, same-day delivery is available depending on the package.

  • Standard: Typically 5 to 10 business days.

  • Commercial: For high-end work requiring extensive retouching, it can take up to 4 weeks to ensure every pixel is perfect.

9. How long will it take to receive my videos?

Video production is a labour-intensive craft. Typically, turnaround is 1 to 4 weeks depending on my current workload. This can be longer for highly complex projects involving heavy animation or sound design, but we will always agree on a hard deadline during the consultation.

10. Can I print the photos myself?

Absolutely. I deliver high-resolution files with print rights included. While you can use any local lab, I recommend professional-grade printing for anything destined for a gallery or large-scale office display to ensure the colors are reproduced accurately.

11. What should I wear to my photo or video session?

Our Pre-Production Consultation is the perfect time to discuss this. We look at clothing through three lenses:

  • Functional: Comfort and weather appropriateness.

  • Stylistic: Aligning with your brand's "vibe."

  • Design: Avoiding patterns (like thin stripes) that cause "moiré" on camera and choosing colours that complement the background.

12. Can you help me with booking a studio?

Yes. I have a network of preferred studios across Melbourne, from white-wall commercial spaces to lifestyle settings. I can handle the booking logistics and include the studio hire in your single project invoice. Additionally, Peer space is a great place to browse ad-hoc production spaces if you are looking for a specific aesthetic or niche location.

13. Do you provide a second photographer for larger events / projects?

Yes. For complex jobs, I bring on trusted freelance specialists from my professional network. This includes second shooters, lighting assistants, audio engineers, animators, or even on-the-day editors to facilitate a smooth, high-capacity production.

14. What payment methods do you accept?

I offer several options to suit your business's accounts payable process. I accept bank transfer (EFT) as a preference, but I also accept credit card (via Stripe) and cash. All bookings and invoices are managed through my CRM for your convenience.
