Stages of Workflow

1. Initial Contact

• Inquiry: Reach out via email at jordy@jordyscott.com or use the booking form at jordyscott.com/contact.

• Communication Policy:

• Preferred Communication: For quotations and bookings, communication via email is required.

• Phone Communication: Acceptable on the day for urgent matters or during active projects.

• Work Hours: General communication is during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). After-hours communication by prior arrangement only.

2. Pre-Production Meeting

• Consultation: 15-minute consultation included to discuss project goals.

• Extended Pre-Production Services (optional, $100 AUD/hour):

• Storyboarding, location scouting, equipment preparation, and planning for multi-day or multi-location shoots.

3. Documentation

• Quote & Agreement: Detailed quote with scope, deliverables, and costs. Acceptance of the quote forms a binding agreement.

• Deposit: 50% deposit to confirm booking and initiate the project. Non-refundable but transferable with 7 days’ notice.

• Balance Payment: Final payment is due upon delivery of agreed deliverables.

4. Production

1. Arrival on Location: Arrive at the agreed time or before and scope out the space.

2. Setup: Set up essential equipment, ensuring technical requirements are ready.

3. Shooting: Capture content according to the shot list, adjusting as necessary.

4. Review (if time allows): Quick review of footage with the client for satisfaction.

5. Pack-Up: Pack down all equipment and ensure the location is left as found.

Overtime: Extra charges apply for additional time onsite if delays occur or if the client requests more content.

5. Post-Production

1. Editing & Revisions:

• Includes a set number of revisions based on project scope (typically 1-2 for smaller projects, 3+ for larger ones).

• Final deliverables will be optimised for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

2. Additional Revisions: Extra revisions billed at $100 AUD/hour.

3. File Delivery:

• Delivered via Dropbox with complimentary hosting for 3 months.

• After 3 months, clients are responsible for migrating files to their own storage.

4. Ongoing Clients: Annual project batches may be stored for end-of-year work.

5. Distribution Assistance: Guidance on uploading and sharing content is available upon request.

6. Licensing and Usage

1. Standard Usage Rights: Full rights to the final deliverables upon full payment for use across social media, advertising, and promotional purposes.

2. RAW Files: Available upon request after payment, with additional fees for transfer/storage.

3. Broadcast & High-Profile Campaigns: Special licensing fees for broadcast or large-scale campaigns, discussed during pre-production.

4. Creator Credit: Credit to “Jordy Scott” is appreciated but not required; agreed terms for collaborative projects.

5. Portfolio Usage: Deliverables may be showcased in the creator’s portfolio unless excluded by request.
